This one is the Lionel flatbed with helicopter and it's the 6th truck in this great series. Another beauty and limited to only 8,000 pieces worldwide, it was produced by Taylor Made Trucks of Englewood New Jersey. This Lionel set comes with matching gold hot-stamped serial numbers, is 1/32 scale and has a working O/0-27 gauge Lionel gondola car with helicopter. The truck also has head and tail lights, engine start, run, and air brake sounds! (so cool). Taylor Made Trucks has designed a completely new body shell, fully chromed no less which has operating flashing L.E.D. landing lights, 3 Lionel oil barrels and a helicopter with its own lights and sound. The helicopter car lights will only operate on track layout power with an underneath on and off switch to disable the flashing lights if you so desire. The helicopter car is lettered LIONEL LINES 2002. The orange and blue helicopter itself is detachable from the helicopter car, remove the oil barrels first before removing or replacing the helicopter into its platform cradle. Metal wheels, roller center-rail pickup and operating knuckle couplers make this helicopter car an interesting addition for the next freight train headed to Lionelville. Both Lionel flatbed truck and helicopter car are packed in a full color Lionel box. This piece was offered ONLY by The Toy Truck Collector and select Lionel dealers.
